My Name is Krissy

People are always shocked to learn two things about me, what I used to do for a living and, how old I am. But first things first, you should know I am a native Floridian who was born and raised on the westside of Jacksonville. I love to read and used to write short stories as a young adult. My love for music began at an early age. Depending on the day, you can find me listening to classic rock, 80s hair bands, alternative grunge, disco and lately jazz. Some of my favorite television shows are Dexter, all of the CSI’s and documentaries about true crime and/or life in prison shows.

I am honest, sincere and loyal. I am quirky occasionally, funny usually and not afraid to say what’s on my mind. I am a hugger and love to laugh. People say I have a kind heart and that I am easily relatable. I mostly always try to see the bigger picture in most circumstances.

​I am married to my high school sweetheart. Although we spent 20 years living our lives separately after graduation, we reconnected in 2009 while he was on deployment in Iraq. In January of 2015, I got to marry my personal GI Joe. I am very proud of him and his lifetime commitment to serving our country while in the Army. I am a patriotic American and I am grateful for our military men and women.
