My Name is Krissy Weiland-Nettles.

As a licensed Cosmetologist and a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, I often get asked two things: what I used to do for a living and how old I am. First off, I’m a native Floridian who grew up on the westside of Jacksonville. I’m a big reader and used to write short stories when I was younger. Music has always been a huge part of my life. You can find me listening to everything from classic rock and 80s hair bands to alternative grunge, disco, and jazz, depending on the mood. Some of my favorite TV shows are Dexter, all the CSI’s, and documentaries about true crime and life in prison.

I’m honest, sincere, and loyal. I can be a bit quirky sometimes, funny most of the time, and I’m not afraid to be myself. I’m a hugger and love to laugh. People often say I have a kind heart and that I’m easy to relate to. I always try to see the bigger picture in most situations.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart. Even though we lived apart for 20 years after graduation, we got back together in 2009 when he was deployed in Iraq. In January 2015, I got to marry my personal GI Joe. I’m so proud of him and his lifelong commitment to serving our country in the Army. I’m a patriotic American and I’m grateful for all our military men and women.
